MAGDA LEVENDAKOU (1951)
Born in Athens, Magda Levendakou studied painting with
Giorgos Mavroidis and ceramics at the School of Fine Arts
(1970-1975). She continued her studies in Paris (1975-1979) at
the École
Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts with Gustave
Singier. She had her first solo exhibition in Athens
(1983). However, she had participated to group shows already
since 1975. Other solo and group exhibitions followed in many
Greek cities. She taught at the Vakalo School (1981-1984) and the
Technological Educational Institute of Athens (1983-1984). At the
same time she is engaged in the creation of pictorial jewels
(micro-sculpture). In her work she has created a personal
neo-expressionist style in the frame of post-modern and meaningful art.
She is the wife of painter Triantafyllos Patraskidis. She lives
